Default want to get a G8 instead of my charger

my DD is an R/T charger,

has anyone here switched from the charger to a G8?

the charger has the worst interior and handling ever in any car.. i was hoping those two where much better in the g8?

how slow is it with the 360hp 6.0l?

the G8 GT actually will beat a Charger RT if they are stock. I ran a 13.7 in 95 degree heat completly stock with a full tank of gas. head over to the g8boards.com and you will find a lot of good stuff. i would recommend test driving one cause it is an incredible car

I wish I could have found it. But Road & Track and Motor Trend both did comparsions of the G8 GT bs Charger R/T, with the G8 slightly outperforming the Charger in every test.

Check out the March Issues if you can

yeah what you mean how slow is the 6L...its faster than your charger r/t stock vs stock any day of the week and mod vs mod i would expect the same. the platform the g8 is on is light years ahead of the charger IMHO. driven both and the g8 is much better in the twisties. add a pedders suspension kit and your ready for some serious grip and lateral g's

My brother ran a 13.5 at 102 the other day in his bone showroom stock G8 GT with 700 or so miles on it. This was at Lebanon Valley (a mediocre track in cool temps). I can't speak for the Charger as I've never driven one but I do recall that article mentioned where the G8 GT beats the Charger in most categories according to the magazine (take it for what you will).

Hey man, that G8 looks REAL nice in white. My brother just bought a red one and it's mint, but I would personally have to go with the blue (or possibly the white after seeing your sig).

Judging from your questions/comments I think the real question is how fast are you looking to be? Sounds to me like you should just wait until the GXP comes out, or maybe trade up to an SRT8 Charger. If those cars are still not fast enough in stock form then you need to man up to an Audi RS6

^It'd probably be a real good race between them.
