| In F-bodies, you just hold down your trip reset button until it flashes.. then you're good for another 5kmiles or whatever it's set for..

| I'd be really surprised if it wasn't in the manual What do they expect the do it yourselfer, or a oil change shop? That you take it to a dealer to have it shut off, or buy a programmer to reset it via the PCM? Don't know what car it was, but it was something like floor the gas with the key off, turn it all the way till BEFORE start, turn the key off and I think that then reset it. Could always try it Or

| If it's like most of the U.S. version GM's it's pretty simple. 1. with the car off, turn it to the on position (don't start it). 2. Within 5 second of step 1, fully depress the gas pedal to the floor 3 times. You should see the oil life monitor begin flashing telling you it's reset, or the display should read something like "Oil Life Reset"
It should work but It could be different than all GM's I've worked on at the dealership I work at.

| Benners way to reset it is correct. And PS it's in your manual under the iol-life section if I remember right. Don't remember where I found it, but it's in there.
