Pretty impressive runs for a heavy sedan - I'm liking these cars more and more each day.

WE are hoping at the next rental to get it into the 10's. In slow mo video format you can see the back end of the car actually bouncing up and down. The car is losing traction during these bounces. He is going to install some new shocks in the rear to eliminate the bouncing effect and then back to the track.
That is amazing if both the trans and rear suspension are stock. GM steped it up when it came to the IRS on the G8. A CTS-V would have been sitting at the line in pieces.
hell yeah man, the 6l80 and the irs are beefy parts. with the exception of the drive shaft itself, everything else in the drive train is bigger/thicker than the irs in the GTO, and people have been putting single digit ET's on those cars for a few years now.
