Default G8 GXP back on the dyno after break-in miles

We had our 6-speed GXP back on the dyno Monday after breaking it in... breaking it in very hard and the numbers are closer to what others are seeing. With 19 miles it made 351 RWHP / 361 RWTQ, and everyone said the numbers seemed low. With 1,000 hard miles and no mods it made 371 RWHP / 382 RWTQ.

Regards,

Rick LeBlanc

That a pretty good size difference for just break in. Maybe I need to beat on my GT a bit more.

I said the same thing, but now the numbers are closer to what everyone else is seeing. We did 3 pulls the first day we had it then another 3 pulls Monday just to make sure we got the same results.

Very nice gains from breaking it in. Makes me laugh at how many people told me that I shouldn't beat on mine until it had 500+ miles on it, lol.
