Default Magnacharged 2009 G8 GXP on the Dyno

Last night we had a 2009 G8 GXP on the dyno. The car is a 6-speed manual with less than 1,000 miles. The only modifications were a Magnacharger MP 1900 Supercharger and Rotofab CAI.

Preliminary numbers were 552 RWHP / 496 RWTQ. We supply 60 lb. injectors with all of the kits we sell, but the car ran out of fuel pump. After the new pump is installed we'll be back on the dyno for more power

Rick LeBlanc

Very nice! When you get the fuel pump issue worked out is there going to be a new product offering or is this going to be a one off?

Rick, pretty soon you will be told, by the resident blower expert, that you and Chris have made a colossal screw-up by using the 1900.

Nice number, BTW.

Nice numbers on 8psi.
How aggressive were you on the tune/timing ???

I'm really looking forward to track times to see the difference between a blown GT vs a blown GXP.

Since it was brought up by George,
when do you plan to have the TVS 2300 available, Rick ???
Thanks.

GTO's with maggies and a few bolt ons make 550 rwhp on a ls2

i wonder if you do a pedders suspesion and brake upgrade and a s/c on a GTO
if it would overshado the GXP.... and a few common bolt ons headers, underdrive , mild cam considering the cost of a GTO oh and cut and roll the rear fenders for 275 dr's

would still be much less than the Gxp s/c cost wise and a little left over for some cosmetic looks.....mine looks like a saleen and has 551 rwhp for 2/3rds the price

i LOVE the GXP....but sine i have a 2 door sports car tht cost less to modify.

i'm looking at the practical( monetary sensce)

Im wanting to trade my 2 GTO's for a GXP

or even the Zo6 an use the left over money in trade to mod it.

carring 3 cars on insurance is a big load..though a CTS-v would solve all my problems

for the record i don't put down any pontiac.....i kknow i can beaat /outhandle and out brake a stock GXp or even a slightly bolt on one.... and its nice inside just like the GTO

don't be a new better guy......with oney tight...the GTO in good condition ..my 06 has 2054 miles my 04 has 13030 miles....they are pristine....and not only fast but tastefully
externally modded.
