Default New Best: 1.68 60ft 11.39@122

New Best: 1.68 60ft 11.39@122, after adding a set of NITTO NT05R DR's 285/40/18 and a 100 shot of Nitrous.

Big Big Super Thanks to my Crew Chief.... Rick "G8-4-SPEED" for making my G8 do what it do!!!
Also, I would like to thank Thomas@Hendrix Engineering/Greg@FTI for collaborating on building me a great converter, Pat-G/Geoff@EPS for providing a dynamic little baby cam, John@SDPC for providing all of the dod-delete parts and Jim@Discount Tire Direct for hooking me up with a set of Nitto NT05R's drag radials at such a super price!!!

New mods to come: Billet Axle Kit, BMR Bushing Kit and '10 Camaro 3.27 or 3.45 center section!!!

BTW: Due to the track hosting a NO-TIME shown grudgefest event, all time slips were halfed.

Great combo. You and Rick have really dialed in that G8 nicely. That's one fast 4dr.

Thanks Guy's. I will ask Rick to go back and take a look at my week before last non-stall converter time slips and last weeks with a 3400 stall converter N/A time slips to get you answer.

Guy's 1 month ago my car was running 14.0x's and my initial goal was to only run 12.3-.4x's with the stock stall/tires and thats what my plans was to mod my G8 for and I be dearn... it ran 12.2x's....well right after that I saw the potential these G8's have....so the next day I ordered the 3400 stall and to see what it it would do...dearn I was suprised again even tho my shift points where off, causing me to hit the rev limit. So then I decided to order the Nitto's and throw on the little dry shot kit I had laying around in hopes of running 11.5x's and I be DAMN.. it fooled me again....11.39 and plenty of low 11.4x's all day.

My new ultimate goal is to hit 1.5x's 60ft, run consistent 11.6x's n/a and 11.2x's w/100 shot. Right now i'm not leaving with the converter stalled to its max of 3.2-3.3k'ish, as I haven't upgraded the axles, suspension bushings, ect, so i'm only foot breaking it to 2k'ish, trying not to over stress the the stock suspension.

Guy's, but what i'm overly impressed with is the smoothness of the rev's and how quite my valvetrain is....it's really a little too quite, but I guess thats PAT-G/GEOFF@EPS fault.....

Its very easy to route a dry-kit, as there isn't that many parts to it. But Rick did such a great job on installing my kit, that if I wasn't there helping him, I would've never known it was there. At saturday's Grudgefest and car show we kept the hood up on the car and 100's of people look the car over and never found it. Its all about using the proper masking.
