looks good with the lip.

I'm not a huge fan of the stockers, I can't wait to put my 18's on mine.

I wasnt a huge fan of the stockers either. Once i did this though it make the stockers look not so stock. haha

I think the lip is what sets them off. How did you prep and paint? What was your process?

I would have honestly preferred something more matte but overall it doesn't look bad. I'm a little biased in that combo though

Well Matte is waaaay to common. I used the same PBM paint as my car.

Took them off. Used a set of mc2s to sit on my car haha.

Sanded them down, took quarter inch tape to make the lip. 2 coats of primer then used steel wool when it was dry. Taped it off with newspaper all around the edges.

Used dymant paint from a place in anaheim. Only cost me like 40 bucks for a pint on paint. Shot 3 coats of paint and 3 coats of clear. Let it dry for a day or so and bam. GG

haha Best 65 bucks i have ever spent!

Looks really good with the lip like that. Separates it from everyone else's that I have seen with painted stockers.

Default Powder-coating

Cool rims! The lip is a great touch! I want to do the same w/ my yellow '04. Did you leave the tires on the rims? Just got my gto a couple of months ago. Is powder-coating an option w/ stocks? How much? Is the Diablo worth the $$?
