When I installed my GMM I believe the instructions said to adjust the stop bolts until you can get it in gear. Then with the car on the ground and the e-brake pulled. Put the car into 3rd and 4th gear, ease off the clutch while in gear and no gas. The car should just about stall, then press the clutch back in. If the shifter pops out of gear adjust the bolt back a little more. Hope that makes sense. Not familiar with the shifter you are using.

Wow just looked it up on Jegs, does it really come in pieces like that? I have the GMM Street shifter, it was cake to install. Trading for the Billet Pro, both are solid shifters and have rave reviews on ls1gto.com. Might want to check there for more info on your shifter.

GMM is great and expensive, but not too expensive, Billet Pro is amazing, but you pay for it. B&M is good while it lasts, and not too expensive, risky because they are known to fail. A lot of people are real happy with the B&M despite this fact. Hurst, never heard a single good thing about them.
