Did you figure out how to keep the ABS system happy since you have to get rid of the reluctor rings on the half shafts? Also is it possible to just buy all the brackets, i have a 9" housing just sitting in the garage...

No ABS with this rear, at least not yet.
This rear is the Moser M9 which is their fabricated rear. The brackets would not work with a standard 9 inch housing. Thanks. Bob

i think of us are waiting to see the final results before buying
I don't blame anyone, but I can guarantee that it will work right out of the box. Moser's Tim Irwin went over everything we did on this M9 rear we installed in Cody's GTO, and fine tuned it. Here is an interview from Sema with Tim Irwin being interviewed about the M9 rear. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...html?item=1355
This same basic M9 set-up with basically the same torque arm and lower control arm arrangement was installed in my Camaro, in fact my Camaro was the first F Body to receive the new Moser M9. It cut 1.29 60 ft times right out of the box in my street legal Camaro on M/T drag radials. Check out this video. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...html?item=1469 Bob

Nice thanks for the info. I just wish i could figure out a way to keep the damn computer from going wacko once you get rid of the rear sensors. I am gonna work with a buddy of mine who is big into electronics and see if there is a way to fool it.

the computer will not go wacko you would just have a light on your dash. the breaks won't lock up or anything stupid. but if the light bothers you that much trying to fool it might be worth it. to me having the light is less of a headache then trying to mess with the computer
i usually unplug mine , so it goes into inactive mode , on the street ive got 26" rear tires at the track ive got 28" tires , which isnt nice to the abs , cause of the speed difference front and rear
besides drag race cars dont need abs
working great on a lighter f-body is a little different than alot heavier gto , though the savings in not having broken parts will be worth it
What i meant by it going wacko was that the abs would not work at all as far as i know and you also get that annoying abs fault message on your dash everytime you start the car.
Anyhow this is a great option for going solid rear, if i had 5 grand to drop haha.

The owners of f body's will typically either break out the ABS light bulb or put black tape over it, if they choose not to order their 9 inch rear with the ABS option. The ABS then also doesn't work on the front brakes either, so you end up with brakes that work just like a pre-ABS vehicle. I know that you know this, but I thought I'd write it for those who may not know this. Bob

Looks great!.... Since the IRS is stationary, and the sub-frame is very close to the floor of the car. I was wandering if you had to modify the floor of the car to provide sufficient room for the rearend to travel?

Thanks!
We notched out the floor above the torque arm, and we boxed this area in. This was necessary to allow for suspension travel.
