First time on Drag Radials

Drove to Anthony NM, and got down to a eighth of a tank... ( dont like doing that ) but I couldnt find a gas station. Plus I was just putting along. The computer said I still had 100miles left....If every eighth on the gas gauage yields 100miles that would put me at about 750-800mi per tank. Which is what I average if I drive modest. On a 18 gal tank equals about 40+ mpg with sum WOT pulls here and there....

750 divided by 18 equals 41.666667...

My car reads about 60ish MPG @ 55MPH on a flat. Only because of the way that I have my injectors set up in my tune. I'm running 95lb'ers. I'm actually getting round about 40% of that MPG. It's in your tune man.

Anyhow- I can't hook mine for $hit. 10psi in the bags, 15 in the tires, 3800 stall. MT D/R 275/40/15's. 3.55 gear. Besides having to roll into it, what do you guys think I should try- At the strip, of course. I thought about slicks, but will that help?

People keep telling me (slicks) but with all of my driveline built except the diff and tranny I'm sure as soon as I hook, shit will break!
