Default help with cv shaft

Hey guys i had to replace my whole right rear suspension set up and after i got the new control arm and what not installed i cannot get the cv shaft to re-install. seems as if the shaft is to long. I know its the right cv shaft so waht the hell am i doing wrong?

Make sure the inner stubs are all the way in. Did you pull the inner stubs out? They are unequal length, so make sure they were replaced correctly. If not, make sure you have everything correctly in place. The CV joints should have a little in and out movement. If you jack up the car and let the rear wheels hang free, that should allow a little more room to manuever.
