Fell through eh?

Lets get it right.

He (Jeff @ TPE) split on the GTO owner, and again on a 2nd GTO owner in Texas. He hung both (who are both shop owners FWIW) out to dry royally and was mis-representing himself as a shop when he was working out of his garage and someone elses shop, without a business licence.

Only recently has he opened his own legitimate business and he STILL TO THIS DAY can not answer ONE SINGLE TECHNICAL question that I have about these kits.

He is ducking and hiding from me because he doesnt want to face the music. I would not advise ANYONE take your car to TPE unless you want to get shafted with a blower kit with no R&D and no KB Warranty.

The ONLY reason he is still selling vette kits is because he is blowing one of the admins and has anyone who says something slightly negative banned as soon as they post, which is useless for me because I just sign right up again. It's a never ending circle.

So what I have gathered from this thread is that this guy Jeff started off eight months ago proclaiming that his shop was finishing up a Kenne Bell kit for 04-06 GTOs and as the months click by he kept adding new and exciting details getting everybody hyped on the one mod no one else has been able to pull off. He says he's not like the other guys that never finish the project, but ends up doing exactly what every other shop has done in the past, only worse because he didn't anounce it and screwed several people out of good deals. And to top it all off he finished the kits for other cars and advertised them on the GTO forum for no reason, and now there is no way to contact him to yell at him for being a total ass.

Did I miss any details?

sadly, that seems like the gist of it. Bummer. Not only does it suck to be edged on then given blue balls, but i generally dont like seeing people fail in their endeavors.

shit, i'd take a twin screw over anything. Instant power..... bottoom end of a roots blower (more actually) and the top end of a centri.

twin-screws are the shizzle.

Wiese,

Right now, there is no Twin Screw supercharger kit avaliable, so your question is asking us to choose between 2 non-existant choices.

However, i would like to help you regardless. You say you are new to the car terminology, does this mean you are new to modding cars, new to supercharging, etc?
What is you history with modifying cars.... What kind of cars have you had, what mods have you had done to them, etc.

I would like to know this, and then we can get you going in the right direction, heading towards whatever goals you desire. Send me a PM, so we dont clutter up this ancient thread with irrelevant talk.

Goals are definitely a necessity in figuring out what you want.

For the track, I say procharger.
For the street, I say TVS1900.

Both will do awesome on either the track or the street, each one just leans a certain way. That is of course, if you want a "blower", and are not considering turbos.

For sure, FB. I am speaking with him over PM's right now. I am stressing to him that he needs to not only consider his goals, but consider his funds. There are many more expenses to modding than just buying the parts or installing them. Like i was telling the man, when you mod the car chances are you are going to void your factory warranty. Lets say you do, and a few months down the road something goes wrong with the car. Does he have the funds to fix the car? Does he have the funds to buy replacement parts, pay the labor, be out of a car for a while, etc.

I want to point the guy in the right direction, make sure he knows full well what he is getting into, the risks, rewards, and costs involved in modding, as well as get him the best bang for the buck if he decides to mod his goat.
