If this comes out, you already have a buyer set-up here once I get the funds rounded up ... not even joking, if this actually hits the market, I will be 100% in ... mark this thread, you have my word. If you can give me a written contract that this comes out (and if not, full refund), I'll put a deposit on it tomorrow ... or Monday =P

Insane how many used S/C kits will be hitting the market once/if this comes out. TEP just hit a gold mine here IF they can back this up ... but one has to wonder why now? There's been plenty of time for a kit like this to be developed, where will TEP succeed where so many have failed. *cue dramatic music* Coming this Fall, a new hero ... ok, I'll stop being a douche, I'm just real excited about this. Trying not to get my hopes up tho, only time will tell. One thing's for sure tho, Termies will need to be looking over their shoulders if this thing hits the market ... big time.

Actually this is a VERY VERY good question.

We learned by other peoples empty promises. We had 2 choices.. 1) Immediatly let everyone know it was happening as soon as it began, then watch as the months upon months upon months, clicked by. Only to see people discouraged that it was "Actually" gonna happen.

Or 2, do all of our testing, measuring, manufacturing FIRST, then let everyone know.

We chose number 2..

My company began this concept almost 2 years ago. We just didnt tell anyone until recently. Once we needed a car to begin the install on, we could no longer keep it quiet..

I spent the ENTIRE day yesterday going over every-single-part in the system. Not looking for stuff that will work, but looking for stuff that WONT work.. Torsion of the motor, inlet design, strut tower brace, firewall obstructions, supercharger bracket design, possible hood clearence issues..I mean EVERYTHING I could think of.. I found a few little items that we will take a closer look at, but I found NOTHING that will not allow this to work.

So to answer your question, there is nothing that will stop this from happening. We are not in the infancy stages. We are in the completion stages..

I haven't been with the GTO community much over a year, but a quick search shows years of empty promises in regards to anybody coming through with a whipple kit for our cars...

Hope I'm not raining on your parade at all, but there's a lot of GTO owners with guarded optimism for this.

Interesting to see y'all bringing this to market this late in the GTO game. There was a lot of interest in this 2-3 yrs ago, but sounds like a lot of folks are still looking at mods. I really enjoy the turbos in my GTO, but have recently added a G8 to the stable. A Kenne Bell would certainly go well on that car.

Well, the GTO wasnt the best selling model ever built..Since it only ran for 3 years, we had to take a VERY heavy look at the numbers to see if it would work.

In the end, it seems the GTO owners, although small in numbers, are Hardcore modders..

Don't I know! I started ordering parts BEFORE I even bought the goat back in 2005

Don't worry about the strut tower brace, it's completely useless ... if need be, I'd throw it away to fit this kit on. If someone doesn't buy this kit because of that little "problem", I doubt they were really that serious about buying anyways ... or know anything about anything, so it's better that said person does not roll around on public streets with a supercharger under the hood =P

Honestly, I think GTO's may be the next GN's. For the amount of units even made, the percentage of people doing absolutely sick things with them is staggering as far as other car makes and models.

Me and God talk daily..

Dont think I wont let him know you swore and didnt buy..

Get your checkbook ready, cause it IS gonna happen. we've got the kit AND the car.. The only thing stopping us is time..

Once I get a SOLID completion date, i'm gonna take a no bullshit poll to see just who many guys are willing to put their money where their mouth is.

We "MIGHT" put together some sort of fixed unit GP.. STRESS..."MIGHT"

Most importantly, we really need to see how many units to forcast. The manifold casting/machining process takes roughly 60-70 days. I dont want to only make 10 kits if 50 people want them. Yet we cant afford to make 50 kits if only 10 people want them..

We've got enough for 15 on the shelf RIGHT NOW.

I need a couple guys in the NJ area with no bullshit forged 400+ cid's and autos. Guys who would be interested in this kit.

I need a couple guys who run at E-town and Atco.

Lemme know if you know anyone..

this is great. i got some money put away, but not enough for a blower at this point. All in good time though

How much are you aiming for in regards to the pricing of the kit? What do you think the time frame is for it to be avaliable? 4 months, 6 months, a year, not sure and dont want to say?

Thank you very much for going through with this. This kicks ass.
