My idea for the GTO and 'Bird

So the word is GM is discontinuing the GTO again and replacing it with another vehicle around about the same time the camaro is supposed to be released. Some think it will be replaced with a new firebird, others think it will be a GTO built on the camaro platform. Not that it matters, but heres what i would do if i had lutz's job. Build the new firebird on the camaro platform, AND build the GTO on something like the cadillac CTS-V platform. Then you could even expand that and build the CTS-V, GTO, Chevelle, and even a buick GS. It would kind of be like dodge bringing back the challenger and the charger, except they wouldnt be ass crack ugly. just my 2 cents. let me know what you think!

sounds good to me....long as we get the TAs back and looking decent cuz we need something else for sure- i dont like the new Camaros at all

I think it's a really good thought...Just do whatever needs to be done to get more modern muscle on the road; I get way to tired of passing 50 sedans/imports to every muscle car.

i think the challenger is awesome it just weighs(sp) to fucking much but i would like to see the release of a new bird along with the camaro

GTO Isn't getting dropped, it's going to be on the Zeta platform with a new body, wider too. Just going to wait a year on it after the Camaro comes out.
