Advertise! When you build a great car don't be afraid to spend money promoting it. It was great to see old GTOs included in some of the 04 ads. The fourth gen. Trans Am ads were great, but seldom shown.
It would be great to see the car revealed at the end of the Transformers movie as a surprise hero!
Race the beast!
Finally, don't overprice and keep supply reasonable. Ford sold 500k 65 Mustangs because they built what people told them they wanted. Why GM is limiting the Solstice production so severely is beyond me. When you've got a winner, build it.
You can do it GM! I want retro and not because I lived through the 60s. I like the classic styling as a young person and would be more likely to buy the next generation if it paid homage to the performance and looks of the originals. My first car was a 1967 GTO which I still own. I'd love for the first new car I buy to be a 40th Anniversary 2009 Judge!
