| It's not bad for a blurry concept picture. What is going on with the roof? Is is removeable, T-tops?

| I kinda like it. I think it would look much better without the hood scoop before the windshield.

| Iroc From the side, kinda looks like an IROC, I wish someone would make a future looking one instead of doing retro like everyone else. Nice skills though. |

| In the side pic there is deffinitely a hint of a 4th gen blended in. Your on the right track, I'd like to see a more modern touch than retro

Remembering your past is important yes, but its going to get old soon. its a fad. right now people remember muscle cars from 20-30 years ago so they want a new car that embodies their spirit and lines.
soon, those cars will be ancient and people wont want that style. for instance, they aren't making cars now that look like the cars from the 30s, 40s, and 50s, because hardly anyone remembers what they look like. unless you consider the pt cruiser, or hhr to be the offspring of these vehicles, which they barely resemble.
I for one cant wait until this retro fad is over and we can get some interesting cars from the awesome concepts we keep seeing... but instead they take the main lines from a 60s car and clean up the rest and call it new... charger, challenger, mustang, camaro... etc. etc. etc.

| Fast Vert, from your sig, are you implying that GM is incapable of building another great Firebird?

| wow dude very nice, I see alot of 3rd gen in it especially from the doors back which flows well with the front. I dont know how they are going to top these forth gen looks, My opinion they are the nicest looking fbody, but this may just do it, they need you in the design department.

That car is so unique and so one of a kind, they couldnt possibly do it any justice. That car is legendary and unmistakable.
Im not saying that GM couldnt, but I think it would be nearly impossible to do it any justice. They have such a great reputation and history, it wouldnt be easy. Plus the styling is so radical now, they can only make it worse. Kinda like my example above of the Road Runner.
Id rather have them not anyway because it allows our cars to be come almost "legendary" and helps them keep their value. Think about the Charger, I once thought of that as one of the best looking and most unique muscle cars of its day. Now, with the new ones out, its basically a 4000+lb grocery getter. You can rent one from Enterprise for like 50bucks. Half the old folks that live around me drive one to church every sunday How does that do the original any justice?
The new camaro looks nice yes, but now the 4th gen camaro is going to become "old looking" and the "mullet-mobile" kinda like a 3rd gen is now. By GM not making a newer Firebird, our cars will always look new, and always be unique. Id just hate to see a Firebird for rent at enterprise rental one day.
Edit: almost forgot the new GTO. heavier and uglier. Just because you are a member on here and drive a GM dont fall into the trap of thinking GM is infallible. They can and do screw things up from time to time just like every auto maker.
