| That looks great and definitely fits in with Pontiac's current design style/language.
The white circle near the front middle (fog light I'm guessing) doesn't quite fit in though. The white "L" in the front would be sufficient for fog lights if it uses the high-output LEDs like the current Audi S6 although the shape would produce a funny shaped light pattern. The light pattern would probably be better if the "L" was lying down instead of upright with high-output LEDs in the long horizontal line and regular LEDs in the vertical to keep the appearance of the "L" shape, but not add much to the road lighting and thus not affect the light pattern much. I think the "L" shape you have may fit in better with those grill openings though. I'm just pointing out the lighting engineering aspects.
How about a flatter hood for the base model (flatten out the raised center, but still keep center crease and the vents)? Actually, I think I'd prefer a flatter hood if I were buying one.
The production version (of course) would have to have a taller greenhouse with a flatter top and larger/less-pointy side mirrors though.
Yes.. I put too much thought into this.
Its a beautiful design. It really gets me thinking. Its probably the best & most original design I've seen for a new Firebird. I do like the retro designs, but this is better. Its definitely an evolution of the 4th-gen.

I'm still tweaking it, I've removed the round fog light thingy, and brought the front openings in towards the middle more.

| By far the best I have seen. The first idea for a 5th gen that I would strongly seriously consider. Don't think it would replace my 4th gen tho...yet.
Hmmm......
Mirrors don't rub me the wrong way but in the real world they would hafta be larger. As long as they fit in with the lines of the car. Take the LS1 TAs for instance. The mirrors have a bit of the front end sculpting worked into them. Not precisely but it is enough to make them looked matched rather than added out of necessity.
Hood....I'm not against the raised part in the center of the hood. In regards to the engine it gives the same notion as a tight sweater on a hot chick...curvy & bulging with suggestion of what is underneath. Kinda growin on me.
Were you intending to have the two openings in the hood as ram air inlets or outlets for air from the radiator? They're working for me, I'm just curious as to the intent. If they are meant for ingesting cooler air, they might have to lose that cool radius that blends so well with the rest of the hoodline in favor of letting air into the engine.
The nose...is it going to be rounded & sticking out a bit (as viewed from directly above) like the 4th gen or squared off...more like past birds? The pics are from 2 different heights, but looking at the TA in your sig I seem to see a rounded front like the 4th gens....which I most certainly like.
The front openings...interesting. Part of me is kinda wanting it more sealed off like the LT1 TAs were. They do look better in the second picture. I guess a determing factor...are they just for show as on the 4th gen...or is there enough room behind them in your mind for a couple of healty air-to-air intercoolers? I'm fully ready to embrace them if intercoolers will mount vertically behind them. Otherwise I'm kinda iffy on them. |

| Hmmm....I don't have photoshop or anything but I did do a little gamma correction to give the car a lil darker color...oooh.....much more sinister and sexy. I'm gonna say she would look totally vicious in all black, would hafta see in all red too. |
