I like it minus the headlights...

It's one of the first TA concepts that I've seen that actually has some recognizible TA body lines..

I think the second one does look pretty nice. I would miss the pop-up headlights though I don't know how you would even use them in that design. Are those t-tops on the bottom one too? I think that would be cool to have a larger rectangle shaped t-top instead of the smaller ones 4th gens have now.

Agreed. The '79-'81 nose sucked the first time they produced it.

honestly i'm not a big fan of either, the first one looks like the offspring of a 2nd and 3rd gen. although the low-slung appearance is nice to see, it would probably look a lot better with the front end re-done. and the 2nd picture could use a more aggressive front end. but both are better than no bird at all. i'd just love to see something that puts the 4th gen WS6 to shame.

The Shaker does need to make a comeback. Ford did it on their prev model Stangs, and I hope the Challenger gets one too

I like the first one, but have more of a 77 front end instead of the 79.

honestly I think GM was heading in the right directions with the 4th gen ram airs, thats an awesome design, mean as hell looking, and had pretty good power, I think the camaro should go retro since they've already started to, and pontiac should take the body of the new camaro and make it their own. By the time the firebird would be able to come out in a retro form the phase of getting something brand new that looks old would be over. I think they should be a leader in this game and not go retro but go with what they know...good looks and high HP!
