|  Im a firebird guy....but!
its apparent that they are not bringing back our beloved car. Im wondering how many true hardcore fans will suck it up and by the 2010 camaro. Ive got an 02 TA and LOVE it but if there not gona bring it back im def. gona get the new camaro.
who all feels the same way? |

am keepin my bird and might get a 01-02 z28 with stupid bolt ons..and then maby a 70-73 maro ....i wont be buying one tho ..

I intend to snag a late-model Trans Am/Formula when all the "traitors" dump them to buy an '09/'10 camaro

| Why would anyone "suck it up" to buy something they don't like? New car smell? The horsepower? I don't care if the new Camaro has 1,000,000 ft/lbs. of torque-the last T/A is one of the greatest looking cars ever made. Based on looks the T/A beats the new Camaro hands down. 5th Gen? Who needs it...

I dont think I will get one, They look great! Even know bird and Maro were same. I am a T/A guy. I would want camaro when they come out, but that is because its new. Just the the 05 Mustang GT I wanted one cause it was new... Now no way after I blew the doors off of one in my 01. I am just going to enjoy mine and add some more older ones

Not me, it looks ok but not good enough for me to trade mine in. I agree the looks of a WS6 beat it. Plus Its gonna be a heavier car as well. I bet it will have the same performance as a new GTO and I wouldnt wouldnt want that. Just my opinion. | |

I see a few Firebird owners dumping theirs for a Camaro, but I see more GTO owners dumping THEIRs for one. Also the G8 is not a bad car... With a tune, some exhaust and a CAI people report near, or over, 400hp. And with a cam, well over 400.

i'll consider getting a new camaro once it's finally out, however there is absolutely no way i would trade in the trans am to do it.

I "dumped" mine last year to save for the camaro. The fifth gen will be a faster, better handling, more comfortable car than the fourth why wouldn't I want that. I guess I really have no allegiance to pontiac. But I do to the F-body and if it comes with a bow tie instead of an arrow I really don't care. The fourth gen T/A's were some of the best car every built but I like the new camaro more. | |

Keep the T/A and park the new Camaro next to it. Atleast that's the plan eventually

For me it's all about the style. I really don't care what the specs are on the new Camaro, I will not entertain the notion of buying one. I will charge on with my WS6, and most likely rescue another 4th gen bird from someone who is trading it for a big glass of the new Camaro Kool-Aid. | |
