Default What I wish GM would build

What I WISH GM would build for the next Firebird/Trans Am is a modifed 4th gen with the nose more pointed and rounded off....like the Knight 4000's nose.

I know.... it's not going to happen.

Yea that type of styling is out of date. everything has much sharper angels with less curves now a days.

Out of date..... whatever...... I still think the nose of the Knight 4000 is one the best looking front noses I've ever seen on a car.
If they slapped that on the front of our 4th gen T/As.... I think I would have died and gone to car heaven.

Isn't that the old Banshee concept? I think it's what the 4th gen camaros came from.

No but a LOT of people get them confused.....

Knight 4000 (It is actually a Dodge Stealth with custom nose and body panels. (I liked the nose.... but not the rest of the car.)

Banshee

I liked the Banshee as well..... but I don't care for the rear end of the Banshee

KIFT body was based off of the Banshee concept. both were ugly as sin

To each his own....

Our 4th gens were based upon the Banshee.

Pontiac called the 4th gens "a blending of the "Banshee prototype and the current(3rd gen) Firebird."

I'm not saying exactly like that.... but along those lines.

Sweet!!! MY PICTURES!!!! I took those at the Trans Am Nationals back in 98 I think it was. What sucked is they had the windows up which made it hard to take a pic of the inside. I really liked the look of that car though. More pics down below!

I can't remember how long back I found those pics on line.

I've always thought it(Banshee) was an awesome car. (Not a fan of the rear though.)

You were very fortunate to see it up close and take those pics!!!!!!!!

Edit: Just went to your site. Awesome pics.

Got me feeling nostalgic from the 1998 Nats. Went and uploaded some pics real quick. Sorry it stretchs your screen. Bigger than Photobucket would allow (The pics are 1824 x 1024 and Photobucket allows max 1024 x 768) and I am too lazy and tired to resize all of them right now. I just uploaded and let PB do the resizing. I really do like this car. That would be titties if a new TA came out looking this. Enjoy!

That looks a lot like something that George Barris would create.

That steering "pod" is outrageous!!!!!!! Also, if I remember correctly, the car was supposed to have a heads up display.
