Default Help with School Report Topic: Pontiac should have a rwd, two door, v8~

Hey guys, I have to do a persuasive report on something that will involve my future career. Granted I don't know what that will be I am guessing something to do with cars. I feel strongly that Pontiac needs a two door, rwd, v8 in its line up, especially as the "performance division". This poll will help me show a general concensus on how people feel about this opinion. Your vote will help me provide proof a car should be made.

Thanks in advance...

You know putting a "Camaro" option on the pontiac side is a bit unfair, right? Either way - G8 Coupe. Firebird and Trans Am should stay dead. T\A will ALWAYS be F-body to me, and I wouldn't want to see it revived any other way.

Im gauging the interests of the target market. I could post the poll on a mustang forum to and where would that get me? This isnt a camaro vs trans am thread its does the performance division of gm need a performance car...or is everyone ok with the family cars were getting now. Also it isnt a bring back the firebird poll either. Just a want for a good ol pontiac muscle car. gto/g8 coupe/gxp whatever the hell they want to call it is needed or atleast wanted in my opinion.

+1. I wouldn't mind owning the last body style available for the TA. I kinda feel bad for the camero owners. Their cars will be like the old body style mustangs to the general public.

I think most people tend to think of "real" (dedicated) performance cars as being two-door, RWD, big-engined beasts- think camaro, corvette, viper, challenger, mustang, and others. Without one, Pontiac can sell you a good-performing sedan, but if you want the classic, hard-core vehicle you'd have to go over to Chevy. If you're supposed to be the "performance" brand, that's weak.
I think you could make a strong argument that simply from a marketing standpoint, Pontiac needs to have one, yes.

I voted yes. The G8 is a nice performance sedan, but it is not a sports/muscle/pony car. Since Pontiac is the " Performance Devision" of GM you would expect them to offer a performance car that is not a sedan.

I agree Pontiac needs a two door, RWD, V8 car to help their "Performance Division" image.

Yeah you're right, what a crappy car . . .

This thing is a 4 door car probably on the same scale as any 4th gen.

I believe the only scale the G8 is on is the one for weight watchers.
2 door >>>>> 4 door any day. I wouldnt sell my T/A for the sweetest Grand Prix and I still wont sell it for the sweetest Grand Prix replacement unless its the two door G8 coupe...

On another note I made my 50 vote goal, keep them coming though that was just a minimum I was hoping for. Thanks for all the contribution guys.
