| I still have hope So in desparation, Ive been searching for news from Pontiac. Has anyone actually had any comfirmed news from Pontiac about their answer to the Camaro? Im heartbroken over the demise of the Firebird, and still know itll be back, maybe not for 30 years, but I know somewhere theres a 16 year old kid in his beat up bird whos going to be the future head of Pontiac making drawing in his schoolbooks of our new Bird. Im just wondering if theres actually plans out there and not just speculation.

| profit, profit, profit!! Tell as many friends as you can to by a camaro and hope the pony car sales pick up. Gotta have headturning results before GM will open the gate and let the new FireBird come play with the comp. |

| It's too bad that my thread that SHOULD'VE been stickied, is now deleted. There won't be any Firebird. GM has said about 3 times now, there are no plans/won't be a Pontiac version.
Now, if the new Camaro sells like no other car ever has, I'm SURE they will really consider it then. That's quite a pipe dream though.

| It's raining today (August) in Oklahoma, I looked out my window and saw a 200 lb boar flying, and I just got off the phone with Lucifer himself...apparently the boilers took a crap and hell is actually freezing over. Pontiac should be announcing the Firebird's return anytime now. |

| Im mainly just wondering if Pontiac had plans for another performance coupe, be it a GTO or what, or is the G8 it? Whatever the case, I like the G8, and will probably get one cuz I have a huge kid and can now understand the appeal of a 4 door hot rod. The Firebird thing was just hope.
