| It is a stick that doesn't need a clutch when shifting. It also has mulitple handels to shift with. Every time you want to change to a higher gear you yank the next lever.

| The Lenco in Whitey's car actually belongs to Kurt (427), as will the engine when it forst hits the track. FWIW, it will be the same engine that powered Casper into the 6's, but with just one turbo this time around. The Lenco is modified by Bruno and is air shifted.

| Car looks great.
Also NHRA Pro Stock the Liberty 5-speed is the trans of choice. The lencos are real popular in Pro Mod. |

| Our local racing scene has a 100# penalty for a twin turbo car, so single turbo helps the weight.
The trans is a automatic Bruno/Lenco 3 speed. It is air shifted planatery transmission much like a standard auto but uses mechanical load to apply clutches instead of fluid pressure. The Lenco was used in Pro Stock years ago with a clutch but has to much drag for the new cars.
This car will be a blast when it is done, I can not wait to test!!
