The 2 speed is made by a company named Antonov, they make transmissions that drive the wheels for cars in europe also using the same technology. On our website in the gallery there are some video's at the bottom of the page. In the video of the Antonov Mustang: watch the boost gauge and you will see boost before the clutch is out with a centrifical sc. I wish they would have kept the camera on the boost gauge while the car drove so you could see the "downshift" happen. The 2 speed really seems the most helpful on overweight underpowered cars although it still is fun in the Mustang. Our H3 test truck really felt sluggish stock, picked up to acceptable with the supercharger alone. The addition of the 2 speed on the H3 was very noticable in everday driving. On the mustang 4.6 stickshift, the 2 speed lets you be lazy about downshifting while still having additional torque under your foot.
On the subject of a F car Rotrex kit. We are not working on anything at this time, and I don't forsee this car ever getting on our list of things to do. The truck bracket that hooks the blower to the head could be cut to move the beltline to f-car range, but we have never done one. We did a one off GTO install that is on our website. It used the same prototype bracket system as our truck kit, just shortened.
