Default What should this exhaust modification cost?

I have my exhaust ran all the way from the headers to the cutout under the rear seat, after that it ends. I have a muffler and over the axle pipe on the rear... There is about a 1.5 foot gap between these two.

I need a peice fabbed to connect them, it needs a pretty strange bend... What should it cost to get that peice made and installed, and by installed I mean welded in because there is no way to clamp it....

Also, Should I weld my y pipe to my headers, and my y pipe to my I pipe... In other words welding the entire exhaust into one peice... eliminating leaks...

Thanks,

-Rick

Also taking in the BMW for an exhaust mod. Staight pipe from the y-pipe to the stock muffler, eliminating all the resonators and silencers, I've heard a few with this done and they sound great.

Probably around $60 to bend the pipe and have it welded in. I wouldn't pay anymore than that, and likely it won't be mandrel bent.

Unless you like cutting the ypipe every time you have to take it out of the car, I wouldn't do it. That got real old, I was always having to cut the ypipe from the ipipe, what a pain in the ass, and then I don't weld so I would have to pay someone to weld it back up. Don't do it.

If you don't work on it yourself and don't mind causing your mechanic frustration and paying him more so he can weld it back together all the time, then go right ahead.
