| What is a good web site type to design? Being a graphic designer, I enjoy making websites (for fun). I've made well over a dozen full and complete websites, sold 2 templates, but I've never done anything for myself. Now I'd like to change that.
I decided to sit down and make a list of all the things I like to read about, enjoy doing, you know, whatever. Unfortunately, some either have a hard time translating into a website, or have been FAR too overdone (hey, VIDEOGAMES!, not..).
So... what do you guys think would be a good idea to design into a website (fully featured, you know something big to keep me busy).
Incase anyone was wondering, sites I've done are a music related news site, a ROMz site (old video games, sold one, made the other, sitting on my laptop now), graphics design site, and graphics design forum. The rest are half assed, or not worth mentioning. |

| Links to your work would be interesting. Knowing what you can do would help for new ideas.

| None of my work is online anymore, my web hosting ran out and the sites I sold were old versions, they've since upgraded. If I can find some I can zip it and upload.
Also, I used to be pretty proficient with Flash, but I'm not sure if I remember how to use it anymore.
Brad, sure, if you paid me if you liked it/used it. |

I've never written a full forum software (never plan to either). |

| Make something that is interesting and can draw in a lot of traffic and then put up google ads and shit and make some money on advertising. Porn would probably work. LOL

lol j/k | You don't need to be a talented artist to make a computer work
And yes, porn is an idea, then again, I don't think I could possibly keep myself on that subject for to long. |

| Haha, I was kidding about the fat titties. Right out of college I was offered a couple of development positions at different porn companies--one of them was even going to train me in Coldfusion! (I only learned asp in school, and have since learned php)
I couldn't find a job and I really considered it. I was taking an html test at the last interview when I noticed that the guy in the next workstation over was editing footage of some guy getting jerked off. Then I realized that I couldn't work there for a living. I mean, porn is all well and good, but I didn't want to be around it 40+ hours a week. They offered me the position later that day and I had to turn it down.

| Just create a gallery type showcase of your work. As you create more art or websites, upload them into your gallery site. Think of it as a portfolio. You can even add a blog if you want.
