Jeep is the way to go. Hands down, the TBSS is an outdated shitbox in comparison. Brakes, Suspension, interior, exterior. I love the LSX as much as anyone. But the SRT8 is no slouch. As above, its the better choice performance wise too. It's a high 12 car with intake only.

So I guess your getting the Jeep then. I honestly would probably do the same after all is said and done..
If its between the Jeep and TBSS defiantly. But Im starting to second guess myself. Thinking about a car again. I figured if I get a Jeep it will save me $500+ a year before I figure in maintenance(on my 2 cars).
Dont take my word for it though. Research both and figure out what you like most then drive both. Honestly I dont care what anyone else thinks I did my research and figured out what I like the most but others could be different.

Eh, a friend and tech members car ran 12.8 @ 103 with an CAI. I haven't seen too many rip 12s stock, but I know it can be done. Depends on your location/track.

pretty much all the ones i have seen run high 12.8s to high 12.9s.. pretty consistent vehicles..
even with just a cold air intake.. thats not going to gain you more than 2/10s.. so he should have ran a 12.9-13.0 at worse..
not trying to get into a debate about it... i just think they are solid 12s rom the factory..

I've always been more of a fan of the SRT8 cosmetically, but in all honesty I found both SUVs to be top-notch vehicles. This choice IMO is all personal.

Gas consumption should be considered to when making the choice...Doesn't the Jeep guzzle the gas?... That shit is going back up one day to $4 a gallon.. Maybe neither SUV would be a good choice if you're squeezing funds...
If I'm not mistaken I think the newest Tundra truck is faster then both of these SUV's in stock form, but that's a pickup truck.....
I'm damn near positive the new Toyota truck is NOT as fast as a GC SRT8.
You shouldn't be worried about gas mileage when buying a near $50k truck with 425HP. They only get 15MPG best at cruise. Doesn't bother me a bit. I won't complain until gas is 10 dollars a gallon. And even then I'll still be driving cars/trucks/bikes that guzzle 93.

Well then have a look at this 2008 Toyota Tundra... It's close, but can you believe that it does 0-60 4.4sec.... This Toyota truck is no joke.. It's one of the fastest trucks out there..
LOL that thing is retarded! How much does it run? I honestly have never heard of it?

It may be retarded but it's the fastest truck out there...It will beat up on the Ford Lightning's and Dodge SRT pickup trucks too... It's really cheap too when comparing, I believe it's priced in the mid to high 20's..... Friggn Toyota, shit
No I meant retarded, as in sick. But after reading the article, this isn't a production truck. But rather the TRD performance parts, with no plans to produce it out of the factory.

It's just the parts that are available for installation at/through the dealer. It's not production...

Well, you can indeed get a TRD Supercharged Tundra at the Toyota Dealership and drive it off the lot running 0-60 4.4 seconds.. When you purchase the truck you need this and that just like any other new car or truck purchase.. It's only a matter of dollars and cents that is added onto the original base sticker price, like power windows, stereo, alarm, grills, etc....
I actually almost got a TRD supercharger made for my Land Cruiser years back... I sold it instead though.. It was bank at the dealer though but it would have added a solid 100whp with the addition.. $5000...
Now wouldn't that be nice if you can you get the option of a supercharger package from the Jeep or Chevy dealers and run these two SUV's in this thread in the 11's right off the dealer lot?

Gas mileage is bad on both. I would say in similar driving its maybe 2mpg. (again AWD not the RWD model) 2mpg isnt much at all really.

The GC SRT8 goes 0-60 in 4.5 seconds... There you go...
Was going to say the Tundra is not a factory Tundra so it really doesnt matter. Your comparing a stock truck to a modded truck.
