LOL My neighbor have called the police about me several times. Fuckers went as far as calling the SPCA and having the critter cops come out about our poor under fed fat ass cats. The guy got one look and apologizes. Then a week later, I get a notice put on my door to move my trailer. Then two days later someone called the cops, yes the cops, on my Cadilac being parked in the way of the sidewalk. The car was in my F'n driveway.LOL The cop was cool and informed me it actually was against city ordinance. Soooo.......I will invent new and diabolical ways to torment the churchies.
If you live in a neighborhood with an HOA, there is always a possibility where they pass some stupid rule on a decibel level for cars. Then there are fines, etc. and if you don't pay those, before you know it, you have a lien on your house.
Hopefully you don't have an HOA, or at least one with very little power.
I've seen it happen twice in Tucson (the mormons in Gilbert actually like muscle cars lol).

They're not alone. I'm LDS and was raised around muscle cars and other sports cars alike. We don't race on Sundays, but we find ways to go out and have some fun
I left for work at 5 in the morning when I had my open Y pipe/long tube headers. As soon as I started it....I felt bad lol. Plus my car was running (still is) like shit, so on start up it revs to 3k, and driving I have to keep fucking with the throttle, and it sometimes jumps to 4k. I didn't get a complaint since it was only one day....but I am sure they didn't like it. Even after I got the LM1 on, my dad said he heard me down the street, and said I would get a ticket. I can't wait for the cam to go in lol.

Actually, several years ago before the gas crunch, College Station Texas was like this. It was so fun, I just wish I was alot older and could drive.
The scene is slowly coming back and you still see a few bad ass mustangs and such, but a few years ago, EVERY car was badass and loud..
I was jealous, I went a few weeks ago and there were girls driving around in SS Camaro's and Trans am's..

Whats the big deal with people and cars being to loud. My neighbor has a loud ass chevy pickup, and there's a guy with a really loud civic that revs up in the morning. I can here them both when I'm sleeping but I just go back to sleep.
Thats sounds so stupid to me if I woke up and went down and put a note on their door, "Can you please be quite when you leave in the morning?" I'm greatful to be alive let alone complain about sounds I hear, LOL

There is this kid who lives across the street from me that has a DSM with a fart can exhaust on it.. Every time he starts that damn car no matter what time it is he sits there and revs it up 20 phucking times before he leaves. I have never complained to him about the car or left any notes for him. If he wakes me up in the middle of the night with his slow ass car I simply wait for another late night when I know he's home and back my Camaro down the drive way right in front of his house and smack the throttle 5-6 times (trust me my Camaro is alot louder than his car). True dual exhaust, H-pipe dumped before the axel on a 10 second Camaro. For some reason I always feel so much better after I do that!!

I've only had one complaint and it was a joint complaint about my and my bro's car(may it rest in pieces)...they didnt like that we both had lm2.After they came and talked to us personally, they shut up, but the dirty looks keep on comin'

I just moved into a neighborhood... I don't have a vehicle with turn downs so they have not complained but that won't last long I'm sure... workin on finding my next project truck. The last neighborhood I was in did not like the 66 impala... I used to live out of the city and on my street there were four regulars that raced at the track, so they did not mind us messin with the cars till 3am lol.
The neighborhood I am in is Leave it to Beaverville,fuck my back yard is the golf course. WTF was I thinking! One of my neighbors came by one day to inform me they heard my 8 year old cussing. I asked what the offensive word/words where and she said " We heard him say ass". I just kinda stood there blinking. Then I threw up in my mouth a little when she said she took her 10 year old home and had to sit him down and explain to him why the words where bad.
Thier explaination almost earned her a bitch slap from myself and my wife. LOL She explained to her kid tha there are bad words in this world because the devil made them bad. LOL OH SHIT! I have only been here a year and a half. My wife being a bar tender always brings her friends over to party on our deck. It never fails, the women always end up naked on the deck after a few.
Then it occurs to me again. her truck the "HellBlazer" and my car lovingly named by my wife "The Beast". I wonder if I can change my address to 666.
All of my neighbors stopped talking to me when I got the car and now I get dirty looks from some of them. So during the summer when I leave at 6:30 am for work I just open up the cut-out and leave it in first gear down my block...wakes all the fuckers up.

That's fucking hilarious!!! All my neighbors are mostly older folks, some black, some white with younger teenage kids (16-21) that do nothing but walk the fucking streets until Curfew.
