wtf people using manuals will get better times because the manuals shift faster with a clutch. what are they smoking?
ok maybe on a road course manual is better but for drag race mode they better rethink that.

Agreed - reading the drag-racing article was mixed emotion. Yes - I am SO GLAD they brought that back, many hours of sleep will be lost 1320' at a time. But, I was really hoping for some drag specific options - autos, converters, relocation brackets, drag slicks, etc. I just hope they get the traction co-effecients working well so that some of these cars can reasonably hook.

DG: We've added 50 percent more car upgrades to Forza 3 from the previous game, which already had plenty to begin with. That said, we don't have specific drag racing part upgrades, like line lock, drag-specific fuel pumps, or drag-specific superchargers. What we've got are a ton of upgrades to mix and match, such as different tire compounds and separate front and rear tire sizes. Managing these upgrades can make your car very good at launching--drive train swaps, engine swaps--basically all the components that make your car really fast for drag racing. Just like in real life. Again, Forza 3 is an automotive sandbox that allows the player to optimize cars for all types of scenarios--circuit, oval, drag, drift, etc.
Since I moved out, I'm Xboxless. This very game might be the reason I get one of my own. I was addicted to the first two, so this has got to be good. All I ask for is the return of linear courses and a fuckin foxbody.
93 cobra R has been confirmed so there will be a foxbody . now there better be a 03 cobra on there or im going to be pissed. Im really looking forward to this game. IMO forza 2 sucked balls.....it was all about circuit racing and no drag racing. Also i wish they would make a slick that would actually hook for the RWD cars.

You can make a car half-ass hook up.
It adds to the challenge if you lock traction control off.
Ok so I can tell you guys first hand that this game is awesome Turn 10 had a tent set up at a car auction I was at earlier today. Needless to say, that I will need to buy the xbox wireless wheel for this game.

lol well im pretty sure the game is based upon circuit racing.. i was fine with that, i dont mind a few turns. F2 is leaps and bounds ahead of F1, and im sure F3 will be the same way.
