truthfully I've never seen that time board till on that video. and No, the prep still sucks if it even exists. I have a full bolt on car with street tires and I have to leave at 1200rpms or less or I spin...

I only go on testntune/adrenaline bracket racing. Trust me, not too much adrenaline going on there.

You're probably going to want to get some legal advise. With the law it is never as easy as it seems once you are on the bad side. Could get your license taken away and/or insurance rates go sky high if they will continue to insure you at all. Look into it before your court date.

Yea, I hear ya. I went one time when I just had cam/bolt ons/stock gears/ converter and literally DUSTED everything down there.. The next fastest thing was an SRT-8 jeep running like a 75 shot.

There's a handful of fast cars down there, but not many. Its sad when I'm so close to being one of them lol If I had some radials I'd be cleaning a lot of peoples' clocks. Theres this "5.8" fox body out there with heads/cam/who knows what else, and he has radials, and I've beat him lol. From the looks and sounds of his car he'd smoke the shit out of me, but I win every time I race him. First time he red lighted like the 2nd, but te 2nd time I ran him down anyway and beat him twice in the same race lol

Not sure yet, I'm waiting on a belt drive fuel pump as I'm running out of fuel at 3400 RPM. I've also got a new clutch I got to get in. I'm hoping I can squeeze a high 12 out once I get those. After that its getting an S300 turbo and head studs and more tuning

OP, you should have stayed on the gas and ahead of that damn truck, you cheesed and let off the gas and the cop got you.. The other truck driver got away and stayed on the gas...

Smart guy in the truck, OP not so smart.. Your car was faster too that's really got to hurt when you think about it

Sorry to rub it in and good luck with the church judge and ticket..

Your young, you live and learn. When i was 17-21 i was lucky enough not to get caught street racing in philly or anywhere else. Good luck in court.

I think not, the OP could have hit the nitrous if he had it, pulled in front of the truck and into his lane and never looked back.. The cop would have then been forced to stop the truck instead.. This thread would then be a feel good story instead..

Last time I was out at the races in my Dodge Ram CTD they got busted. Luckily I was near my truck when it happened so I hopped in, put her in 4X4 and ran. I ended up passing 6-7 cars including an Evo at the front of the line. I got about 1/4 mile ahead of the Evo and started to slow down a little. I noticed a couple cars pass the Evo but thought nothing of it, I figured that they were just a couple cars running that just wanted to be out front. Next thing I know I have red and blue lights in my rear view. Long story short I didn't admit anything to the cops and they had to let me go. Now, if I was in my WS.6 I think they would have nailed me to the wall. I really played off the fact that my Ram is a work truck.

I've never been busted for racing, came close a couple of times though... One time I was racing with a Porsche and a motorcycle cop clocked us both on his radar, he turns on the sirens and lights and makes chase. I see him coming a half a mile away and I hang a quick right and a quick left and gun it.. My guess is he kept straight and busted the chick racing me in the Porsche..

When I had a motorcycle in college, I was showing off and popped a wheelie speeding down a residential street like an idiot.. My luck there was cop standing right near his car watching me pass right bye.. He runs to his squad car and hops in as I hang a right and left and hammer it. Going thru alleys and what not and evaded.. Never saw him after that wheelie and right turn but I know he was trying to catch me.

That's what speed and quick thinking will do for a brother..That was all I was trying to say. If your ahead of the guy your racing the cop is more then likely only going to catch the loser trailing..It's tough to pull over two guys at the same time, especially when one is way ahead and makes a turn..

The key is to make sure your car is faster than the cop cars in your area. Then you just run.

Went to the track last night and guess who was there, same cummins I raced a few nights ago. He apologized for starting the race but we had a good laugh about it. Its a 4x4 extended cab with 35 inch tires running low 13's in the 1/4. His best 60ft was a 1.88 so this truck was far from slow.

There was an older guy in a brand new camaro ss that paid his entry fee and everything only to chicken out go home. Not even 400 miles on the car and the guy cut the mufflers off and replaced them with straight pipes. There was also a new g8 gxp with cams/full exhaust running low 12's.

Sounds like it wasnt a waste since he got beat.

I got a street racing ticket racing a CRX that I thought had a Turbo and built pretty good. Turns out it was basically stock with like a B16 swap(whatever the fuck that is). He got us both I was ahead by a lot by the end of first gear but just didnt want to risk running home and seeing another cop. I just got a lawyer and had it knocked down to careless driving 2 points instead of 6 and $154 instead of $254. But the insurance company still noticed and raise my rates. Thank god I turn 25 in like 9 months and only had to pay the increase for like 1 1/2 years.

I went to court today and got off pretty lucky, the judge said if I could pay the 180 fee today it wouldnt go on my record. I gave the clerk my 180 bucks and walked out with a grin. No more street racing for me.
