Nah, sticking to one brand is like marrying the girl you lost your virginity to
is that a bad thing?
my dad has owned all GM's since 1980 besides him buying my first car (86 mustang). weve got all GM vehicles right now and probably wouldnt buy another ford or dodge ever.
94 S-10 - 400,000 miles, still have it, first "car" and i still drive it
98 Buick Regal GS - 120,000, still drag race and mod it
02 Trans Am CETA - 25,000 drive on nice days
98 Cavalier - 220,000 my DD
06 Cobalt LT Coupe - Wifes DD
Still own them all and drive them all

All or most brands have their own weak and strong points. So far I have only owned a few cars but I would probably own something other than a gm car for my dd needs, and take out the badass gm car on the weekend.
- '77 Celica
- '88 Camaro Z28-iroc
- '85 Camaro z28
- '95 Mustang gt
- '98 Camaro z28
- '03 Acura rsx-s
The 98 has been the most enjoyable, the acura the most reliable.
First car was a 1989 Ford Probe, 1994 Grand Prix GTP, 2005 S r t 4, 07 Honda CBR 600, 1993 Eagle Talon, 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier, 2004 Trailblazer, now the current ride 2001 Camaro SS
So I had 4 GM cars 3rd one in a row I think I got it right now!
My first car was a 72 Chrysler Station Wagon
Then it was all Holden's - I generally had a Commodore and a Ute
When I first moved to the USA I have only owned GM in about this order:
Chev Full Size Truck
Grand Am (lemon POS)
Monte Carlo
GMC Jimmy
Blazer
Olds 99 Aurora (wish I still had this one)
Tahoe
Aztek
and quite a few others...
I then moved back to Australia:
Holden Jackaroo (really an Isuzu Rodeo)
Holden Commodore
Toyota Landcruiser
Holden Commodore SS
Holden Ute
Then back to the States in early '08
Current cars:
00 Camaro
05 Trailblazer
80 Formula
71 GTO
Best Car: Holden Commodore SS. Holden knows how to build a MUSCLE car and GM USA know how to bring them to the USA and screw them up.
Most Fun to Drive: I love my 80 Formula. What a underrated car to drive. The other car was the Olds 99 Aurora. That big old Northstar V8 was unbelievable and it had the best interior. Total pleasure to sit in and drive and stock it had some real GRUNT.

Yep, and now its time to try something different. With the exception of my motorcycle everything has been GM. Lets just say I am willing to jump ship....

1998 Pontiac Firebird Formula M6 12.36@112mph with a 1.76 60ft-Sold
1991 Buick Regal, 3.8 V6- first car, family owned since new, so I spent a lot of time as a kid in that thing. Still miss it, but between me and my sister, we drove it into the ground with 270k miles on it. Had that really nice red velour interior. Pretty reliable until my sister got it, then it totally fell apart.
1988 Toyota truck- 2wd, 5 speed, reg cab, carbed 22R. Light blue metallic with stripes. Pretty basic, but it was a damn nice truck. Sold in 2003 with 110k miles for $3500. Perfect paint, no dents, no rust, mint interior, cold A/C. Garage kept its whole life. Still regretting that sale, I have yet to ever see an 1980's Toyota truck that damn nice. Dad had a similar 1985 Toyota pickup that he bought new and drove to 300k miles. I think it left him stranded exactly ONE time, he still talks about how awesome that truck was.
1990 Seville STS- 100k miles when it got it in 2003. Very nice pearl white paint, brown leather interior. Had a full length console, four bucket seats, burled wood everywhere, looked like a Rolls Royce inside. It had a V8 in a modern Honda Civic sized package. Looked like a 1980's Buick LeSabre or Olds 88, very ugly IMO. Sold it after a few months
1999 Camaro Z28. Navy blue, auto, gray leather. Just an absolute beast of a car. LS1 was really fast, but after five years I got tired of the noise, cheap interior, and crap ass seats. Only reason it stuck around for that long was the absolute power of that LS1. Handled pretty good as well, but the fbody really doesn't stack up against a BMW, Miata, etc.
1991 Cadillac Brougham D'Elegance- Navy blue on navy blue leather. 103k miles on it when purchased in 2008. Very well preserved, garage kept old man's car, very nice paint, mint interior. Big ass boat of a car, but it is a great example of the type of car Cadillac used to build. Big and boxy, its definetly a design icon. Seats are button tufted like a nice couch, feels like you're driving from your couch as well. Stock 350 TBI Chevy V8 means a nice torque curve(not fast, but adequate) and rock solid reliability.
