Default Drag Racing Track Manager/VP of Operations Needed

We are looking for someone to be part of an exciting new venture in the Motor City. Contrary to popular (national) belief we (the gear heads) are still alive and well in Detroit .

This will be a new facility and we need someone that has previous experience and knowledge of all aspects of what it takes to start and operate a drag strip.

Intial requirement is for this person to be involved in the up front planning and aid in securing the final financing to move this project forward.

Please PM or text me for an email address to send your resume to.

I'm not really qualified, but I'd be happy to do it!

There is a lot more work than just showing up at race day. After seeing how much work the last good track manager(that I worked with at the track) put into running the track, it would need to be a full time job. This guy was working 40+ hours at the track during race season(only actually race 2 days). This guy is a racer or was, since hes ran the track I have seen him there maybe 3-4 times.

Isn't the point to have a full-time job?

I would assume that promotion and coordination take up most of the day.
