Wow. It's beautiful. Tasteful street mods. Sounds like fun times on the way back from work.
That is coming from a guy that owned GM forever. But, then again really you'd have to be a biased pos person to put on an anti-ford hat and say you don't like that car. It is hard to say that it doesn't do something for most car people.

Random question, and you might not care, but how do the tires handle on the street?
So far so good. They feel great at triple digits on the highway. The rear feels firmly planted. I haven't tried to hit any corners hard yet though. I have a feeling that might not be the best idea. Overall though, great tire for the street as long as they never see rain.

Couldn't tell ya! I talked to the guys at Lethal Performance and they assured me that they would fit. I've seen pics before buying them so I knew how they would look. Now that you ask the question, I think I'll find out what the offset is.
I have 10.5 FR500's with a deep dish lip, running 315's, and I had an issue with the passenger side rubbing against the tail pipe! I figured it must have something to do with the offset of the rim, what's your take on that?[/quote]
First off, those are badass wheels! I would agree with you. I'm guessing wrong offset. I'm running a Mach 1 Bassani over the axle catback (since I have a SRA) and my wheels/tires don't contact the exhaust pipes. However, I did mount up some Weld's recently and they hit the exhaust because they were the wrong offset.

Thanks. I had a guy roll up next to me recently in an EVO and I thought he was going to shit himself. He didn't want to run. He just wanted to hear the blower...so I obliged by putting it to the wood in 2nd gear.

Yep. First off, the plate in my sig is photoshopped. That's not my real plate #. Second, I know someone who posted their plate on the 'net and their car was stolen from their garage. Someone ran the plate and got his address. That's why I blurr my plate.

Agreed. That's what I'm thinking too.

They will definitely fit a 17x11 wheel.

Been there, done that...there's always someone faster. You know that as well as I do.

That's true, but I can't figure out why I'm so slow. I always start in 6th and I follow the shift pattern....6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd. I'm wondering if my shifter knob is upside down?

03-04 Cobras are the ONLY late model Mustang I have ever really considered owning.. Damn your car looks good!
Thanks. It is kind of interesting that the '03-'04 Cobras look so good considering they are very similar to the other SN95 Mustangs. A guess a few minor enhancements does the trick. I do like how the GT500's look though. Too bad they don't weigh 3,200lbs.

I hear that. I've had plenty of GM's, including 2 fbodies. If a car looks goods and it's fast, it's good enough for me!

I've always liked that car, looks great with those tires. They do hook damn good on the street too I was surprised. Like you said though beware of the rain, it'll own you... ask me how I know

That explains the MPH in that slip you have. Seriously though those tires should help on the track. Looks good too.

Oh boy...that doesn't sound good! I learned my lesson with drag radials in the rain on the highway once...major scare! I was lucky and I saved it.

There's just not a lot of time in my life right now for the track unfortunately. I need to make time and get a few solid passes in before the season is over. I just discovered a little rubbing today too...not much, but it's there. I know it'll rub hard when I launch it at the track. I'm going to try a few things to lift the rear end up about a half inch or so to see if that eliminates the rubbing. It's too bad because I think the stance is badass. If that doesn't work, I'll narrow the rear end an inch. Thanks for all the props guys. I appreciate all the positive feedback. I'm always open to negative feedback as well as long as it's constructive. Lots of good people here still...and a couple of douchebags.
your car looks sick!!!!!
i would love to get an 03 - 04 cobra and still keep my z
I'd like to add a C6 to collection. (Does 1 car count as a collection? ).

Thanks Tim. Maybe next spring. I was on the fence about buying a 3.4L Whipple, but I ended up having KB rebuild this blower for $750. When I sell it, it'll be in good shape at least.
