Looks tough. I've always been a fan of the 03/04 Cobras, they have a ton of potentiol with little mods. I've been a gm my whole driving life, but if I found a Cobra in my price range it would be hard for me not to jump ship and go to the darkside lol.
I just don't like the looks of the Cobra. The BUBBA tires don't really do anything for me. What's your best 1/4 mile time? That impresses me. Call me an asshole but saying "Hey look at my wide tires that rub" just makes me laugh. Whoopy Dooooooooo...LOL

Ok...you're an asshole. First off, I don't know you nor do I care about
your opinion. Therefore, it makes no difference to me what you think...
and I certainly don't care if you're impressed.
...and your 9.30's are quicker than me, but that's still pretty damned slow
especially for your combo.

LOL...sorry for being an asshole. Yeah I'm pretty slow for my combo if my raceweight was a bit lower.
I've not gone full out on slicks yet. I was getting to that when someone threw me a challenge to do my best on 17" DR's. My 60' times are 1.48 coming out on no boost. Tires just don't hook with any real boost on the launch.
It'd be real interesting to see what my 60' times would be on a normal street. They actually hook pretty well believe it or not.
I do like the big meats look but only if they're tucked into the wheel wells. For me it's time to do a shortened rear end. Tuck some beasts under there.

Thanks bro. I appreciate the feedback. Here's the deal...I went to this
tire (and new rear wheels) because of major traction issues in a street
race. It's not about how wide they are. It's about how they hook.
I have some fuel mods to do over the winter. I'm hoping to crack a
9.99 on the hose afterwards. We'll see. That's no easy accomplishment
for a street car with a 6 speed.
I do like the muscular look from the back. I used to have a 6-speed and just kept breaking parts unfortunately. 9.99 with a stick is tough to do. My buddy owns a twin turbo cobra with over 1000rwhp and a stick and he made it but not without breaking things along the way.
