Default What's The Name Of This Fight Movie?

Okay I walked into the barbershop 2/3 through the movie so I don't have all the pieces but...:

There's a young dude (18-22) who has a little brother. Their mother doesn't like the idea of either one of them fighting.

The young dude has problems with this other dude who's rich and drives a black Escalade and has a bunch of friends. They all work out and do MMA stuff at the rich kids house.

I think the rich kids dad was some MMA buff, because later in the movie, the rich kid talks sh*t to the dad, the dad smacks him, and the kid doesn't do anything.

The young dude(protagonist) goes to train at a gym with this black guy after he gets beat up in a bathroom by the rich kid. The black guy then shows the young dude how to kick a punching bag halfway across the room.

The young dude has a run in with some other kids, whoops their asses, and the vid is put on youtube by the young dudes friend, causing the young dude to get kicked out of the training gym.

The young dudes friend gets duped into going to the rich kid house, and gets beaten, and dumped on the young dudes steps. Then the young dude goes apeshit and decides to kick the rich kids ass.

The end up fighting in the parking lot and the young dude gets beaten up for 3/4 of the fight. Then he finds some kind of unconscious motivation, and kicks the rich dude in the face, effectively knocking him out.

What's The Name of This Movie?
Excuse the horrific grammar, punctuation, syntax, etc.....

hahaha that's pretty descriptive. But yes, it's actually a really good movie. Plus some tail in the mix isn't bad.

lol, true story.....this is an updated MMA version of The Karate Kid. Thought the movie sucked coming from an mma fan point of view. Better than Never Surrender though.

Best fighting movie i have seen recently is Blood and Bone....

Exactly.

Never back down was garbage.

If you want to watch a good film on mixed martial arts, watch The Smashing Machine.

That was a documentary though about Kerr...not really a movie about MMA.

I would love to see someone do a good movie about MMA show a fighter who struggles in small venues to break out and finally gets his opportunity or something like that. Good MMA scenes and some background on the sport itself.

A documentary about a mixed martial arts fighter isn't a movie about MMA?

lol, you know what i mean....its a documentary film.

I want to see what i mentioned above.

I seen the movie a few years ago and it was a cool concept and gave good insight to the behind the scenes aspect of the sport but i wish they wouldve picked a bigger fighter. The idea was good and so was the documentary but i whish they wouldve profiled a bigger name

The worst part of Blood and Bone is that Kimbo and Bob Sapp got beat up, in the same movie no less, that wouldn't happen in real life...oh wait...

It is a shame where he ended up, but that's what makes the documentary such a great watch.

I didn't think it was "cheesy". I just thought it was a bad movie because of the fact that the main character didn't do sh*t but -

a) Work Out
b) Get beaten Up

How can you have the star of your movie get his ass kicked through the WHOLE movie, and then BARELY win at the end? Weak.
