All jokes aside, I can't believe these morons survived but it did fare really well for a 100 mph crash. No gore at all and ws. I actually love the 10 GT.
Also, check out the speedo stuck on 100 mph when it crashed. I hope this isn't a repost.
What the hell did they hit? That is just insane that the dealership would give 3 teens the keys to a brand new car and not go along on the test drive.
I test drove an 02 Z28 today at a dealer, the guy handed me the keys and said have fun, didn't even ask to see my license.
Seriously some kids need to learn how to fucking drive...

Wow must be lucky to live in a place with so much trust. The dealers here in Cali would never go for that unless you are like 40-50yrs old When I test drove my SS the dude went with me and my pops.

What would you have to hit to screw up the front of the car that bad, jeez I think they were going for some weight reduction, along with less rotating mass on the road with the loss of two rims...I guess they forgot to account that the car would slow down without tires...

that thick, heavy ass modular motor stopped the damage form going any further. lol. anyways, are they forced to buy it now in a "you break it you buy it" kind of thing, or can they get off since the dealership GAVE them the keys.
...speaking of which, the salesman that gave them the keys might be out of a job
The guy I bought my Porsche from (private sale) let me drive the car alone and I'm 19. A private sale is even more risky.
It's all in how trustful you look/come off as.

It's all about how you present yourself to them. If they feel you're mature enough they'll hand you the keys, and in some cases the dealers insurance plays into the matter as well. There are a couple of times I can think of where I even had my parents come to the dealership because they thought I was a tire-kicker just looking for a good-time.
Looking at the cabin, you can see it is still pretty much intact and has proven its worth according to safety standard boards. The car was given the Five Star Safety Rating award, and this incident seems to prove it.
They were actually stuntmen and viral marketers at Ford are to blame!
Well Ford gets some free crash testing data out of this. Pretty impressive that the cabin held up like that. I think the kids might be ok even if they were in the car for the whole wreck.
I also can't imagine who would allow three teens to test drive a car like that.
