Im just wondering what this kind of stuff does to you. I read the add on Mens Health magazine and it says that it boosts testosterone, builds muscle and sex drive so it seems like good stuff.
Are there any side effects ?
I also heard of this other one by BSN called ATRO-PHEX, its supposed to help you get cut and lean I guess. Anyone tried this one ?
I gotta admit im getting curious about trying these things but I just dont want my balls shrinking into raisings
First, don't believe the crap you read in magazines especially when it comes to supplements (it's almost always marketing and BS). Second, don't consult a magazine like Mens Health for serious advice about anything. Third, most supplements aren't going to do shit unless your diet, lifestyle, and workout regiment are already in line.
Save your money. The only things worth buying are creatine, a good protein powder, a multi-vitamin, fish oil, and maybe a fat burner if you are on a low cal diet and need a little energy in the gym (caffeine works just as well for the most part)
save your money. its just an herbal supplement that can slightly raise test levels, ect. not worth the $. $ is better spent buying food and hitting the gym and getting rest.
no supplement is going to get close to a cycle of real gear. so dont buy into the hype.

Another supplement (which works for me) is plain old amino acid Leucine - a very anabolic compound that in some people is more muscle building than even heavy roids.
Supps are for pussies. Grow a pair and take steroids.

eat a lot (different # for everyone-5k or so for me) of clean calories, get necessary sleep (8+ hours), and a good lifting program without overtraining yourself and you don't need any supplements at all to pack on muscle. If you wanna drop your BF, don't waste your money on those fat burners either. Calories in vs calories out...try some HIIT or some other cardio and eat low carb/high protein diet and the fat will melt away. I for one will not mess around with my test levels...and most of the ppl who do have no business doing so as they are not even close to their "natural" limits...
but its your body and your money

No, it actually just negates it self. You grow 'em just to lose 'em.

I always went natural. I couldn't deal with taking a shit every 3 hours taking protein and didn't want to take creatine, idk I just never felt comfortable swallowing a pill to get muscles.
I would take protein and creatine if you want to get big. Your suppose to drink a good amount of water though when you take creatine. Also your arms will be big but alot of it is water retention and they will be soft, which is another reason why I didn't take it. My arms are smaller than my friends but they are cut and I can press ALOT more than them.
If you are a hefty guy, step on the treadmill. I watched my friend go from 240 to 190 in several months, it was pretty neat. And protein/creatine works well if you take the right stuff. My friend had great results with it. I really just wanted a great "beach body" so I didn't want to waste the money taking it.
What are your workouts now and what kinda weight are you doing? You just have to hold out the first few months and then after that you will be good. Once you start seeing gains after a couple months you wont want to stop . My friend and I would force each other to go lol.

yeah, dont waste money on the OTC testosterone boosters....wont help and probably can hurt over time. Only test products that work are the real thing. I do not suggest that though. If you are just starting out, get your diet and workout routine down with the addition of vitamins and protien shakes if you need them. Diet being the key. 99.9% of supplements are good for making the manufacturer rich. That being said, order online from someone like dpsnutrition.com before going to overpriced GNC.
I was just thinking about this the other day.. I workout 2-3 times a week, I skip a day or two in between because I am usually still sore. I've been doing this for the last 8 months and I'm just not really gaining much. Yes, I'm trying to build muscle and gain weight.. I don't follow any kind of diet besides not eating a lot of bad, sugary, fat foods. I try to eat meat as often as I can. I am getting a little more cut slowly, but without putting on any weight I don't have much to cut.
Should I look into creatine and protein?
