Wow, when I first saw the title I thought you bought a used LS1 MOTOR for $700.00 which I thought was a good deal! Good God man, definitely the deal of your life there. You are so far ahead of the game, you could do a 6 speed conversion and drop in a built T-56, fix the body work, put away some money for a new motor when this one goes out, etc. Congrats on this insaine find! yea craigslist is the shit. I just bought an 04 grand prix gt with 150,000 on it for 1800 bucks. Dude said the tranny was bad. Some retard put a radiator in it and left one of the tranny cooler lines leaking. I fixed it topped off the fluid and its straight. Man thats one hell of a deal you got, if i hadnt have bought this one i would have seen that one, was it in orlando CL i monitor tampa and orlando on a regualr basis and you can get some steals there.
Yeah, it was in orlando CL....I bought it in melbourne from some 25 year old chick. Water pump was shot and that was it.....No joke, I drive it everyday to disney. When I went to get, I drove my gf 01 monte carlo and was crusin 100mph down 192 towards I-95 to us1. I was so excited, I couldnt help my self. I thought it was a joke at first, but when i got there, there she sat in the parking spot, with my name all over it.....I shit myself when it was true. I gave her the cash and I got the TITLE and I got the hel;l outta there before she changed her mind......LOL, Thanks guys for all the nice comments......
Yeah me too....All my friends have LS1's and I was driving around in a little 90 jimmy. trying to keep up with them when they race . Now its all different, Now they try to keep up with me....lol.....I have been patient for a long time, and now it all came true.

Wow, I knew Craigslist was the place for deals, but wow. I found a $600 exhaust for my bike I paid $150 for on there, and I thought that was a deal....but you...you're a son of a bitch. haha!
If it were me, I'd seriously be half tempted to turn around and sell it for 6k. =/
BTW I'm currently looking at maybe a BMW 325i or a LS2 GTO, so if you could look for me that'd be great. Hahaha
