| Went and took on the best..... Hi Guys, last Sunday over here in the Uk, i went to an event called Vmax, a drag race to a 180 degree sweeping corner, then a blast for 1.7miles down a straight. I went against a RUF porsche 1st, i out accelerated it to the 1st corner, jumping on the brakes at 140.67 mph, i know that from my GPS, around the corner and then going up the straight i just ran outa gearing (5 speed) i maxed at 182, the RUF 201mph. I beat a 430 Scuderia outright, and out accelerated a GT2 to the 1st corner, but it blasted me down the straight again. GT3's no problem!! heres a little piccy to give you an idea..
Mines NOT the porsche!

| COOL!
That's similar to what Tanner Foust did on a Cali National Guard airstrip on a recent episode of his "Supercars Exposed" show, only he used a chicane before the 180 sweeper.
A T56/6060 will not fit in the trans tunnel/shifter location of the Cerbera??
At least then you would have a chance of sticking with the Euro 'supacars' down that long straight.

| No T56 would then inhibit exhaust system and we wouldnt want that! My mild cam runs outa puff at around 6200rpm( peak at 6000rpm but it drops off fast ), but the grunt off the line is a blast. If i could make power at 6800rpm that would be 199.61mph. I have an event in around 2 months which is a 1mile standing start, they will never catch me, and i'll have the 416 in by then too!

Oh I don't know...to many lawyers perhaps. Anyway, it looks like you are having fun with you TVR. It's nice to see you putting in a large American Imperialist powerplant in that Bloody British ca of yours. BTW, doesn't that Ultima give you a hard time down the straight?? I saw it in one of your pics. |

| Get info on when the event is happening again and if they allow spectators. I would love to hop across the pond and check that out. Sounds like a lot of fun.

| That sounds like a pretty awesome event! For such a built motor... even with that cam it should rev to 6600 or more no problem.
Is the exhaust choking it? Maybe you need some cutouts
With 3:08 gears it should be able to fly. |
