Big Bend Open Road Race (BBORR) anyone on here done it??

I was reading the recent GMHTP and came across the open road race in NE. After talking to my supervisor, I learned that they have a similar type race in the Big Bend area in TX, (south of Odessa?/). After researching it on the interweb, I think I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to participate next years race April 22-24 (my bday is 23rd so all the better!)

I was just wondering if anyone on here has participated in it or plans to next year? If so hit me up cuz obviously I'm a newb so any discussion/pointers/plans will be greatly accepted!!
