| meziere 35gpm be enough for an autocross car? I'm getting all my ducks in a row to convert my 1990 turbo miata to an ls1 car. Would a wp119 35gpm pump be fine for the maybe 2 minutes of run time with 10 minutes waiting? It will free up a lot of room running this pump vs a stock one. It will also have a very large radiator if that helps any.

| For auto-x, an EWP is great. You can keep coolant pumping with the engine off between runs, and it should be more than enough for a few runs. |

| Bump to an old thread. How does one fair on the HPDEs where you can be out there up to 20 minutes. Is there one offered for the LS1 that will push enough at those RPMs to keep a LS1 cool?
Stock heads and cam, long tube headers and intake. Big radiator and fans.
I run a Meziere on my mod motor and it worked flawlessly on the street and HPDEs with the stock radiator even on a kill tune. Up until the point it failed and the wife kept driving the car not paying attention to the gauges...

You could run a road course w/ that pump. Which is what high powered Miata's should be doing. How, does it free up a lot of space over the stock pump? I have used a Mezeire & a stock pump. Seemed about the same (dimensionally) to me.

| It is the WP119,not the WP319. No heater or thermostat provisions
Right now I won't be doing any kind of racing, as the nearest autocross is 96 miles away and the nearest RR track is... Well, I don't even know of one anywhere near here. It will be mostly street driving and open road cruising

AHHH, gotcha; my mistake. I had paid no attention to the model number.
Yah, Mid Ohio, Nelson Ledges is further, but less expensive. Let me know when your build is done. Maybe a bunch of us from this board & Road Racing section can meet up.
