Default Raod Races & Auto Xs In Or Around Wisconsin

I have been trying to find some events in southern wisconsin and northern illinois for a bit and haven't really come up with anything. I'm trying to get everything sorted out to go to Raod America in the in the spring if the NMFBA does an event again. But I have been trying to find some open track days this year to see how I like everything and see what really needs to be upgraded besides what I already it needs. I have found a few places but its hard to figure out whats going on and if a novince (SP) is even welcome to drive. I looked up black hawk farm and autobahn in IL and they don't really specify anything. I have also heard that they hold auto Xs at miller park, but they might be import only events.

If anyone has any information such as the times of the events and the cost of them please post it up for me, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

I saw your page the other night. But the weekend at black hawk is $310 for the weekend? How much seat time would a novince get? A friend of mine wants to bring his civic too and my brother wants to bring his s10, but it says no trucks. An s10 is a small truck could he race with that?

Turnin:

MVP Track Time schedules six, 20-minute run sessions per group each day, so you'll get 2 hours of track time daily. You'll be tired at day's end. It's a heck of a bargain at $310 especially since we throw in a nice lunch both days.

The Honda Civic is fine but we don't allow any trucks, even smaller ones like an S10 or Ford Ranger. Sorry!

Feel free to call me at (314) 249-3770 if you have questions.

I run at Blackhawk Farms and Autobahn w/ Midewestern Counsil.
http://www.mcscc.org/autocross.php

They actually have a driver's school at Blackhawk on 7-19. Pretty short notice, but you should make every effort to get in! I learned a lot there, got the pic you see in my sig, and dropped some time at the track. I was undefeated there in SS, and hope to keep the streak going this year.

With all your bolt ons they will ding you a lot in classing, and bump you into a very tough class. If you are running true street tires (over 140 tread ware) jump into Super Street with me. There are a handful of F-bodies there.

Even if you cannot get into the Driver's School, we will be racing there again on 08-09, 9-20, and at Autobahn 10-4.

Were exactly are you from?

Hope to see you out there. Feel free to PM, I'll help however I can.

Thats awesome man, I live by Richland Center which is about halfway between madison and Lacrosse right on hwy 14. I really don't plan on doing any class racing, more just go out there and have fun. I have a lot of suspension upgrades that I want to get done, but would like to get out there and see how the car does now. I know it will probably be a handful coming into and out of the corners on a street tire, but will only get better after new shocks and springs and sways lol. How much is the drivers school? I think I'm going to try to get the september 13th and 14th event and see if my brother will split the cost and drive my car too. Sucks that he can't take his truck, but rules are rules.

Hope I'll see you out there at some of these events. I'll probably make the drive out to watch some even if I'm not going to be racing.

Feff...
Thanks alot for the info. Sucks for my bro though, just seems weird that hes not allowed even though my camaro is about 2.5' longer and wider than his truck. But its cool. Hopefully I'll be able to make it out this year, but if not I'm going to try to go to Road America next spring and hit up a few more events and hopefully be able to show the civic owner whats up in some tight auto Xs haha.

Thanks alot guys for the responses, hopefully I'll see you out on the track
