Default Autocrossed for the first time

I finally did an auto cross this weekend after saying I would forever. I had a great time but Im just looking for some tips.

Towards the end of the day I started being able to look towards the next turns pretty well, but I couldnt get my time down at all. I was around 90.xx, the fastest times were 78.xx and average around 84. I know I wont be competitive which I dont care just trying to get it down lower. Also on the straights when I was on the gas hard the rear felt like it was bouncing. The car has drag springs(they were on there when I bought it) in the back which Im thinking may be the reason why or I may have been spinning the tires.

I was smooth on the gas and made gradual turns not jerking the wheel.

Anyone have tips?

Was anyone videoing your run that could show if the tires were truly spinning? I've found that helps me remember stuff and also if you have a way of mounting an in car camera that will be good to review and remember stuff that you want to do differently.

Drag springs aren't good for auto crossing, so get rid of them and put upgraded or go with stock rear springs and you will pick up better control of the car.

I know. I dont feel like changing them right now since I just got done putting the stock struts back in because the aftermarket ones broke on me unexpectedly last week. In a few wheels Ill probably order some new springs.

Im already in the A Class so Im not to worried about doing mods that would normally bump me up since Im already damn near the top.
