| Newer member with new First Gen road racing project Well I recieved a giant box to start from Art Morrison courtesy of Frank from Prodigy Customs/GP superstore.
I just wanted to take a minute to thank Frank who helped me to decide exactly what goals I wanted to accomplish and how to achieve them with this project. He talked me through the entire process and gave me loads of info on what I needed.
I would also like to take a minute to thank everyone at Morrison for their help, especially Kevin Koser, if anybody needs a great salesman/tech guy he is definately your man.
The car is being built in Cabot Ar. All I know now is a 69 Camaro with 19x12s with a 5.5 B.S. in the rear and 18x10s with a 6.25 B.S. in the front, C-6 Corvette front, 3-link rear It will have a 5" ride height with a 5-speed and Air-Ride...LOL
As far as engine I am not entirely sure. I will probably not do many 1320ft blasts but I know it will happen. I will be doing a lot of auto-x and a few sprinkled in road races. I was thinking something along the lines of a 427 or even a 454 but it will definately be LS based. I have even been contemplating some Forced Induction just not sure yet. Feel free to give me your suggestions, ideas, and thoughts
Well onto what everyone really wants to see
and the heap it is going into
Front 275/40-18
Rear 345/30-19

| Thanks guys, I spent the better part of the day today with the guys from Spectacle Solutions in Memphis (SITE SPONSOR) and we talked over several options and they were all very helpful, and a bunch of nice guys to boot. I got to watch them tune a heads and cam LS1 in an early Nova and all I have to say is they went the extra mile to get everything they could outta that car. We will be deciding soon on exactly what block and heads we will be using for the build and I will most definately keep everyone updated with photos and specs. |
