Default Lt1 Whipple Supercharger?

Is it possible to put a Whipple Supercharger, or any other Twin-Screw/Roots Blower, on a Lt-1 ?

It might be possible but you would have to hack it up.

Search the impalla web forums. Guy on the East coast has done quite a few Eaton LT1's in IMP's. I think the guys website is MPE something ?

Yeah it is Mease Peformance Engineering he has done some TT b-bodies as well even a few stroker TT cars. Last I heard he was working with Whipple to make a more readily avaialble kit as his are currently hand fabbed intakes and such. They fit under a stock b-body hood unless you want an intercooler then it needs a cowl, so it would be damn tight on an f-body. I believe Alvin of pcmforless.com had a roots blower in his LT1 f-body at one point too.

There were a couple of Whipple Charged LT1s running around about 4-5 years ago. Never heard what happened to them. I had a picture off the net on my previous computer. I will look around and see if I can find it.

i did a thread a while back on this and came up with cutting the cowl out and making an intake for the camaro.someone did one once and seemed to work well but in the end i think it woulda been less hassle to buy a centrifugal kit.

I started thinking about it when I saw videos of a KB Cobra, Its ridickously fast and streetable, Plus it has a big cool factor, I heard there might be 3.03 kit coming out for the Ls1 and Im not going to buy a ford mistake with a lowly 4.6L

Not your grandpa's Roady huh?
I need to work on a sig for here.
Mattt look at it this way the RAISS has big time cool factor going for it thaty gets a lot of attention when I go to the track, you couldn't run it with the blower.
