Default Looking for a few things...

just wondering if anyone has a dash assembly from a 97+ Camaro?..wanted to switch my 95 Dash out for the newer style one....the A/C vent alignment isn't a problem since the car has no more A/C anyway...I have a gauge cluster on the way already from a 98 car, was wondering if I would need to Computer from a 97 car for the Digital Odometer to work propperly or not.....if so, then I'm also looking for a 97 LT1 Car Computer.....thanks and any help would be great...

I've performed this swap and written up a guide. Search on Camaroz28.com for the link. Its free.

I have good news and bad news for you. The good news is that your stock PCM will work fine. The bad news is that you must have a 1997 gauge cluster in order for the tach to work, among other things. You will have to find a plastic pin connector and reland thewires/connectors inside of the new connector housing. I have the GM part number on my writeup.

The odometer can be reprogrammed by an electronics shop. I used a place in Houston called "Falcon Electronics," but they closed their Houston location down. I believe they have a place in Dallas. Bring it your old cluster and they can set it, as well as checking to make sure your gauge needles are set correctly.

Once again, a 1997 and only a 1997 cluster is what you need. You can install an LS1 cluster, but with all of the SES/ABS/CheckGauges lights your car is only going to look right during Christmas .

This is 96speed...

I didn't want to make it sound like a sales pitch, but I have a 97 cluster from parting out my car. If you can't easily find one, I'll would sell it to you for 75 bucks. I paid $100 when I bought it.
