Arrow N.I.B ETP 225's + cometic gaskets,TREX cam

I bought these last summer from tuff on here link and have since changed my plans.I was going for a max effort stock bottom end setup and am now saving for a fi setup. These are small bore chamber 3.90 57cc 2.08 intake 1.57 exhaust and have the upgraded springs for cams up to 650 lift.Rocker stands included. Specs from etp's website

Cylinder Head: G III LS1 11° Application: Street / Race
Port Volume: 225cc Chamber Volume: 35cc to 72cc
Test Bore: 4.000" Test Pressure: 28.00" Water
Intake Valve: 2.080" Exhaust Valve: 1.570"

Valve Lift Intake Exhaust Valve Lift
.100" 71 57 .100"
.200" 153 114 .200"
.300" 208 164 .300"
.400" 265 204 .400"
.500" 308 224 .500"
.550" 320 228 .550"
.600" 328 231 .600"
.650" 332 234 .650"
.700" 320 236 .700"

I would like to get $2350 shipped (paypal fees extra). For that price I will also throw in a brand new set of cometic .040 headgaskets.

Also I have a used Trex cam bought from here link

Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft - T-ReX v.2 - 242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 lsa 3500-6700 RPM Power Band. Violent mid-range & high RPM power. Requires computer tuning, 4000+ converter on autos, 4.10's or greater on manual trans cars. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. Due to the extreme nature of this camshaft, piston to valve clearance must be verified when using modified cylinder heads.

Would like to get $275 shipped for the trex.No trades please

Would these perform well on a max effort LS7 427 motor?

These are more for a stock ci application. You would want something a little bigger like 240+ or ls7 style heads on a max effort 427.

These are good heads. I have the exact same ones. I picked up 50 rwhp and 50 rwtq from 5000 to 6000 rpm with these heads. After 6000 I might be experiencing valve float so we are going to try some different valve springs.

Jake, which springs are on the heads?

Chicago, these heads are for a 3.90" bore.

Someone buy these, this is a good deal. No reason you shouldn't be able to run low to mid 10's on the motor with these heads depending on your race weight and overall setup.

Thanks for the kind words PewterZ28 .To answer your question ETP's website has the springs listed as STG 2 Valve Spring Kit .650 Hyd. Roller. Its a valve spring they have made for their heads. Also what cam are you running and has it been to the track yet,443 unlocked ?

zssman if your 383 is stock bore (3.9)and 4.00 stroke I would think these heads would work great. They are kind of on the ragged edge for a 346 but the extra stroke of the 383 would really help down low and should make a great combo.I took the numbers you gave and had to guess on a couple of parameters for a compression calculator and came up with 12.1 scr with the .040 hg that should be pretty close to actual.UPDATE I talked to ETP and they said they would work on a 383.
