Yes it is a direct bolt on - 98-02 stock. 3" pipe diameter split to two 2.5" at the back.

Have seen some PM's, first $170 gets it.

Still for sale... I've extended $160 offers to a couple board members so this is my new low. As seems to be normal, a couple people interested but I still have the exhaust.

First one with the cash gets it.

Tks.

The only issue with the exhuast are the notches I had to put in the over-axle pipe to loosen it up enough to take off my car. You can see the notches in the pictures, and they are short enough that they are NOT back to where the clamp seats. So there is no impact to function but the slots are there, which I guess might bother some people.

The tips and the resonator (what matters) are free of any knicks or scratches, and were never dragged. They'll clean up to 100% new.

So for $250 off the price of new I think the small slits are a reasonable thing to live with . You could have the whole thing installed and welded up for less than the price just buying new.

Also there have been some questions about what exact exhaust this is. I find it kind of odd, but here's a breakdown:

- 99% of Stock LS1 cars came with one of two exhaust systems:

1.) The standard rounded muffler split to two tailpipes with various tips.
2.) The "SLP option" Dual/Dual system on Firehawks and SS's. This is the same as SLP's aftermarket "Powerflo" system. This system can be found on SLP's website.

I am selling a Loudmouth II modular catback system, which is much louder than the above two factory options, and offers a significant power gain over option 1, but only a very slight one over option 2.

This is the new generation loudmouth catback which uses a bolted in resonator, unlike the original loudmouth system where the resonator was welded into the intermediate pipe. This allows you to use any number of different mufflers / resonators, including the original Loudmouth I resonator for an even more aggresive tone, a straight pipe, or various other mufflers from dynomax or Borla, etc.

Since this is a Loudmouth II system - it is equipped with a slightly quieter muffler than the original Loudmouth resonator. It is still very loud, but to some people's tastes is just enough quieter than a Loudmouth to make it livable with headers and no cats. My car is stock, and it was just a little too loud for me so I'm selling it at a huge loss. Resale on Loudmouths is evidently terrible, especially since I won't ship.

The system bolts up to any factory LS1 Y pipe. It includes all the clamps and hardware as original and so long as you are putting it on a stock car there are no issues at all.
