Default TEA LS6's & Jesel J2K's and more

I have a set of 243 castings ported by TEA . 2.02/1.57 valves . These heads are set up for solid roller but can easily be used for hyd. roller by changing out the springs . The heads are brand new , used LS6 cores freshly ported .

Flow #'s 60cc chamber

Lift Int. Exh.
.100 65.4 54.4
.200 136.3 117.8
.300 201.4 177.1
.400 255.0 227.5
.500 293.1 251.5
.550 309.6 256.7
.600 321.4 260.3

The heads have REV valves , PSI valve springs and matching Manley ICD retainers . Without the springs or retainers $1600 shippped this is for the hyd. roller guys , just add spring kit of your choice . Anyone interested in them as a solid roller setup PM me as these springs and retainers were expensive but I need to get rid of all of my stuff .

Jesel J2K rocker sytem 1.9 ratio brand new in box including stand height setup tool and pushrod length checker $1000 shipped . SOLD!!!!

These are both a great deal and I will ship them in the 48 for the sale price .

I also have 6 Oliver Billet rods for sale . Rebush these @ $20 each and add 2 new ones and you have a set of killer rods cheap . Best reasonable offer .

5.3 cores stock , low mileage , $150 shipped .

LS1 Block w/ Katech Billet Maincaps installed , stock bore . $600 OBO . SOLD!!!

I might be interested.

What are the advantages/disadvantages of running an LS6 head vs. a 5.3L head? The LS6 obviously flows better, but which gives you more velocity and power (especially under the curve).

If I got these, I would want to pair them with a F13 or F14 cam. Would this fit without problems and without flycutting?

Finally, what compression would these yield? I need to stay right at 11:1 if possible.

Thanks, look forward to hearing from you!

There are many advantages to running LS6 heads , no disadvantages . The chamber is more efficient so it makes more torque . The chamber is also less of an issue with valve shrouding . Better intake port to start with and a much better exhaust port . These heads would work great with a F13 . I don't see the need for a bigger cam unless your going to turn the rpm to use it , if your not your giving up low end and not using the true potential of the bigger cam anyway . I'm not sure about flycutting but the heads were milled .030 and have a 60cc chamber for a little over 11:1 on a stock shortblock . Look around to see if anyone is using LS6's milled .030 and don't forget to factor gasket thickness and valve size . I'll send you a pm , Thanks for your interest .
