Default TEXtralia OZ700 Series Clutch with 18 Pound Steel Billet "RoseLock" Flywheel

TEXtralia OZ700 Series Clutch with 18 Pound Steel Billet "RoseLock" Flywheel

I had this clutch & flywheel in my car for 600 miles, the first 590 of them were easy break in miles. the clutch held up fine to 405 rwhp but did not hold up when I sprayed it.

I believe this clutch would be great for an fbody that wanted a very soft stock feeling pedal and was making 400 rwhp or less. the disk, pressure plate and flywheel still look good.

$300 shipped

I thought those clutches are supposed to hold more than that?

that doesn't sound right to me, sounds like it was installed incorrectly. I had my tex in my car with almost 500 hp to the wheels on engine and it would grab anything that I threw at it with over 3K miles on it. Will be using with my new 446ci 600+ hp to the wheels setup, and am not even worried about it.

maybe it was installed incorrectly, i I'm just being honest with everyone and want them to know the whole story before they spend there $ on it. like i said, i think this would be perfect for more of a daily driver car or still someone that likes to have some fun, but doesn't make a crazy amount of torque.

here are the pics i just snapped.

it still might be kinda hard to see, but you can run you finger across the pressure plate and still feels pretty smooth.

I'm curious? Why would you sell a $1,000 clutch for $300? Kind of sounds too good to be true.
